The Artillery Continues ...
Is it me or are these boys just not into scoring first?
Arsenal [again] doing the thing they love most, coming from behind and making a mockery of teams who 'dare' to score against them first.
As much as I've admired their football this season, I find it funny that they rarely struggle to win, until it becomes evident that they could lose.
Evidence: This weekend against Villa. Villa? Imagine, Villa scored against Arsenal! What nerve!
Of course their lead lasted all of zero minutes before the Gooners were at it running riot on them.
In face the Villa faithful were happy to see that they managed a 2-1 loss at the end of it all!
... and the Goalfest Continues ...
Stevie G and Torres have scored in the last 3 games for Liverpool.
With the Anfield faithful getting their goals they cried for all last season and notching up a +16 goal difference [matched only by Arsenal] with 14 games of the current campaign underway ... it is amazing.
Torres seems to score at will.
Gerrard seems to just want to score every game ... whatever it takes.
This is definitely good for the Reds, only thing we need to deal with is Hyppia scoring on both ends of the field. At least he's 'off the mark' for this season on the right end of the pitch.
With all this, I'm scared when Xabi Alonso and Danny Agger make it back. This is going to be fun.
... Sneaky Ru$$ians and pesky ManUre.
Joe Cole the sneaky lad.
Well, their 1 nil win gets them the points and Avram is right - forget about flamboyant, win ugly.
That was Jose's philosophy - I'm counting the days to when Roman Abramovich gives Avram the boot for doing exactly what Jose was doing.
I wonder who it is on this blog who's voted Drogba to be the leading scorer - he's going for Africa Cup of Nations isn't he? [All Hail Nando Torres!]
ManUre - or should we call them Ronaldo United?
Without him they are quite pale, just ask the Bolton defenders who must have jumped for joy when they saw the team sheet last Saturday before they won 1 nil.
Well, Fulham knew Mr. Ferguson would unleash the wrath of Ronaldo on them - two nil and 3 points and they move back into the top four.
DARN IT!

Exciting times indeed...a couple of things:
- We need to maintain the momentum across the entire season, keep winning and winning big
- We need extra cover in central midfield and possibly a winger (Quaresma, anyone?)
- There are slight lapses in concentration in the middle of matches (e.g. Reina and Carra's comical collision) that we could do well to cut out of our game
That said, that Drogba voter has got to be JP, Chelsea's longest-serving Kenyan supporter...
Hah Hah ...
My apologies for being away for so long - new baby daughter, changing nappies, etc.
The Chel$ki lover is definitely having a hard time pulling the plug and revealing themselves.
Torres 5 more goals to the good as compared to Drogba.
Now with him and Stevie G scoring every game ... this is looking good.
